This exciting opportunity is perfect for passionate educators dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for our youngest learners. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting infants' growth through thoughtful curriculum development, personalized care, and meaningful interactions. This position offers a rewarding chance to make a lasting impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team committed to excellence in early childhood education. This is for a full-time position in our infant classroom and is M-F 9am-6pm.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 12+ ECE units (3 units must be Infant/Toddler CD 30 or CD 31) • Livescan, medical and TB clearance necessary Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants' individual needs, interests, and milestones Foster a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Support infants' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through engaging activities and attentive caregiving Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum strategies that promote literacy education, early intervention, and overall childhood development Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and behavioral management with patience and professionalism Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to build trust and partnership Maintain accurate records of developmental progress, assessments, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, behavior management, and classroom management techniques Experience in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods Proven ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds in daycare or preschool settings Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external specialists such as special education or early intervention providers Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation when appropriate for age groups Familiarity with childhood development milestones and best practices in childcare and private school environments Demonstrated classroom experience with lesson planning, teaching physical education activities, tutoring support when needed, and managing classroom behavior This role is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to contribute to the foundational years of children's lives.
