Part-Time Extended Daycare Teacher Gr 1st-8th, Canyon Heights Academy, 2026-2027 School Year

Job Description Canyon Heights Academy, located in Campbell, CA, seeks an Extended Daycare Teacher for our students in grades 1st thru 8th.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age of 18 Prior experience working with children in an organized program Must have knowledge of children's developmental stages and activities that are appropriate for each grade level Must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the children and the program. Has the ability to interact well with others in a professional environment

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate enrichment activities which expand and support student learning experiences beyond the classroom Supervising children's play activities Building positive relationships with parents, students, and school personnel Overseeing homework time and guiding children as necessary Demonstrating cooperation, flexibility, and teamwork Maintaining a safe, conducive environment for children inside and outside Documenting incidents of injury, health, or behavior issues Keeping materials inventoried, organized and put away when finished Performing assigned housekeeping duties daily Preparing snacks Implementing program procedures effectively to ensure the safe being of all participants Enjoying being with students and foster their spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development through the duties outlined above Hourly rate: $30.00 Applicants interested in the role are directed to email Dr. Analiza Filion at afilion@chamail.net.
