Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and preschool-aged children. Experience in curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education and basic math concepts. Skilled in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior management and social-emotional learning. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance and safety. Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments; prior classroom experience is highly valued.
