In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans & newsletters, supporting early childhood development, and ensuring a safe, inclusive space where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity in our preschool community. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful interactions among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and routine supervision of toddlers and preschoolers. Support children with special educational needs through tailored interventions such as early intervention strategies and individualized support plans. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. ​Incorporate Biblical teachings, prayer, worship songs, and age-appropriate Bible stories into daily classroom activities. Maintain detailed records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor progress effectively. Skills 12 units in Early Childhood Education / Child Development ​Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Proven experience working with children in licensed daycare, and preschool. Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare activities. Experience with behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
