Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Montessori Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners and support their early childhood development. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth. Your expertise in Montessori methods and early childhood education will help shape a strong foundation for our students' future learning journeys. Responsibilities Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with Montessori principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and respect among children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to schedules. Support children's individual needs through tailored instruction, including special education and early intervention strategies. Foster positive behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful learning space. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns related to child welfare or development. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and lesson plans while ensuring compliance with educational standards. Skills Strong knowledge of Montessori methodology and early childhood education best practices. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Proven ability to work effectively with children across various developmental stages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention techniques, and behavior management approaches. Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues clearly and positively. Competence in using standardized testing tools to assess student progress when applicable. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes physical activity through teaching physical education. Prior experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred; certification in Montessori teaching is highly valued.
