What You'll Do:
As the Lead Childcare Worker, you'll be the heartbeat of the Nursery during your shift: Provide loving, attentive care—including feeding, bathing, and engaging children in play and age-appropriate activities. Coordinate shift operations, support childcare workers and volunteers, and ensure all daily routines run smoothly. Conduct admissions and discharge meetings, oversee family visits, and help create a safe and supportive environment for caregivers. Maintain a clean, safe space for children and staff. Complete all reports and records per program and licensing requirements. Follow meal/snack calendars and ensure supplies are well stocked. Model kindness, respect, and compassion in every interaction—with children, families, volunteers, and the community.What We're Looking For:
You are a calm, caring professional with a deep love for children, especially during challenging times.Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma orGED 12 ECE
units completed (3 must include infant care coursework) 1+ year of direct childcare experience in a licensed childcare center, group home, or similar professional setting Knowledge of childhood development and positive guidance techniques CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background check and physical (including TB test) Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements:
