In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child's unique developmental journey. Your energy, creativity, and dedication will help shape a positive foundation for children's future learning experiences. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and child welfare. Lead daily classroom activities for preschool-aged children, including toddlers and early learners, ensuring safety and engagement at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress through assessments and standardized testing when applicable. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and classroom experiences. Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a love of learning through hands-on activities and interactive lessons. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential, with a strong background in childhood development and classroom management. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable to support diverse learning needs. Proven ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive conduct and social skills. Familiarity with teaching physical education and tutoring methods to enhance overall child welfare and development. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
