Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a Christ-centered classroom. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while modeling Christian values in both word and action. Qualifications Required Education (per California licensing requirements): Minimum 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development from an accredited college Units must include: Child Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Program/Curriculum (teaching methods or classroom practice)

Additional Requirements:

Must live in the United States Must meet all California Title 22 licensing requirements Prior experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families Faith Requirement As a ministry of Ygnacio Valley Christian School, all staff must be in agreement with and able to support the school's Statement of Faith and actively model Christian character in their role. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment Support children's spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth Maintain open and professional communication with parents Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership Employment Details This position includes a 60-day probationary period Employment is contingent upon background check clearance and licensing requirements How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief statement of your faith and teaching philosophy.
