We have a Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum that is fun and engaging for little ones. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with preschool learning standards and address various areas of child development, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Lead activities, both individually and in groups, using a variety of teaching methods like play, storytelling, songs, and hands-on experiences to engage children and facilitate learning. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment. Implement positive behavior management strategies to promote cooperation and respect. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating observations and recommendations to parents. Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities. Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns. Work collaboratively with other preschool staff, including other teachers, assistants, and administrators, to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment. Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for children and the ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment. The ability to adapt teaching methods and activities to meet the diverse needs of young children and to create engaging learning experiences.
Educational Background Requirements:
Bilingual Preferred 12 ECE Units Preferred We provide CPR/AED training for free. A background check & TB test clearance is required upon hire.
