DOE Qualifications:
Successful completion of 12 units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education Classes. Must have Infant & Toddler child development units! Background Check Fingerprints Mandated Reporting Certificate Pediatric CPR/First Aid Card TB Test Must have current immunizations (TDaP & MMR) Healthy Screening - Physical Clearance About Jack and Jill's Jack and Jill's ECDC is an early childcare center that is located in the Southeast Fresno Community. We pride ourselves on the standing reputable history that has gone into servicing hundreds of families in the Fresno area for over 30 years. Our staff work hard to ensure that our center is a fun, safe space for all of our children to have the healthiest learning environment possible through professional development courses and trainings. We are looking for someone who is passionate, specialized, and knowledgeable in the E.C.E field and is able to be a positive asset in helping us maintain quality care.
Job Description:
Offer education, care and guidance for all children. Develop weekly learning experience and prepare lesson plans. Prepare, plan and provide balanced, integrated and appropriate instruction for all children including those with special needs. Prepare a classroom environment that supports learning. Plan and engage in assessment activities. Maintain records of children's work and progress. Convey instructional, facility, health and safety needs to lead teacher and administrator. Encourage parent involvement and have parent contact on a daily basis. Identify needs and refer families to community resources. Plan and attend parent meeting and other activities. Conduct parent conferences regularly. Assist in fundraising activities. Must participate in professional development workshops.
