Child Care Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Assist with behavior management and discipline when necessary
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 6 units in Child Development either completed or in progress
• 3 units in Infant and Toddler Care Required
• Previous experience in childcare, nannying, babysitting, or classroom management preferred
• Ability to engage and interact with children of various ages
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to adapt to different situations and handle emergencies calmly
• CPR and First Aid certification upon hiring We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing quality care for children.
