Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth and development through innovative teaching strategies and compassionate care. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners to explore their world confidently while supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive milestones. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning tailored to infants and toddlers. Provide attentive care by monitoring each child's health, safety, and well-being throughout the day. Engage children in stimulating activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning through play. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to foster a structured yet flexible environment. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development using standardized assessments and progress reports to inform lesson planning and interventions. Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers, and have at least 3 infant/toddler units, at least 12 ECE units overall Must be able to work when scheduled between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm Experience in curriculum development focused on early literacy education, math readiness, and physical education for young children. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that foster a nurturing learning environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Skilled in lesson planning that incorporates play-based learning strategies aligned with developmental goals. Experience in daycare or preschool settings with demonstrated classroom experience managing diverse groups of young learners.
