The city which is situated in the northwest section of Santa Barbara County has a population of approximately 7,000 residents. The District's certificated staff includes 4 teachers at Guadalupe Early Learning Center (TK), 30 teachers at Mary Buren Elementary (K-3 Self-Contained), 23 teachers at Kermit McKenzie Intermediate School (4th

There are four plans that the employee can choose from. Each plan provides a different level of coverage and cost. The negotiated settlement that the District pays for the annual cap for health benefits for certificated staff is $11,000. Dental and vision plans are included.
