Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing primary Early Preschool Teacher to join our team in the Two-Year-Old/Potty Training Room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience working with toddlers, and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes growth in social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The teacher will be responsible for implementing curriculum plans, fostering positive behavior, potty training and supporting children through their early learning experiences. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and physical education using research based methods. Facilitate classroom activities that promote socialization, language development, and motor skills suitable for two-year-olds. Support potty training efforts with patience and consistency, encouraging independence in toileting routines. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies. Monitor individual progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each child, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies and participate in ongoing professional development. Incorporate r specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance learning experiences. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; classroom management skills are essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education for toddlers. Familiarity with special education needs and classroom adaptations for children requiring additional support. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining patience and compassion for young learners. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
