Preschool Teacher Leaps and Bounds Preschool and Infant Center - La Puente, CA Leaps and Bounds Preschool and Infant Center is seeking a qualified, nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. We are a licensed child care center committed to providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children and supportive partnerships with families. Position Overview The Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children ages 2-5, in compliance with California Title 22 regulations . Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment Supervise children at all times to ensure health and safety Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior guidance Maintain accurate classroom documentation (attendance, incident reports, daily notes) Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and staff Follow all center policies, Title 22 licensing regulations, and health & safety procedures Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development Qualifications Must meet California Title 22 Preschool Teacher qualifications , including required ECE units (Child Development/Curriculum/Child, Family, and Community/Infant & Toddler a plus!)
