We are looking for someone with experience of being a teacher and can work alongside others commanding a classroom of 12 preschoolers and wants to continuously grow to be the best teacher they can be. (Our program runs very differently & people have many roles so that our teachers are given the respect to be fully with their class but have aides to help with all of the pickup work so you are always with the full attention of your students.)

Qualifications:

Must be creative. Must be eighteen or over and be live scanned 12 ECE units are the minimum but an associates, CDA, or higher is preferred Must have at least 2 years experience working with children at a licensed facility. (Please do not apply if you cannot handle a class of 12 preschoolers on your own without any direction although you have an aide fully available to you) Must have transportation Must have verifiable references. (At your interview we will have you sign an authorization to release any information) Must have or be in the process of having a current approved EMSA first aid in adult, infant, and child CPR if you are interested in opening or closing Must have current TB, influenza if needed, pertussis, & measles vaccinations, & physical exam or be able to obtain one within 30 days of being hired This is a lead teacher position that requires you to be able to command your own classroom on top of being able to collaborate with teachers in lesson planning, curriculum and assessments Must be familiar with different computer platforms to communicate, find curriculum, and do lesson plans online Must be familiar with observations and assessments Must be able to work well with others
