Infant qualified/Early Childhood Teacher Kidz First Academy Long Beach, CA Job Details Full-time $18.00 - $19.25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications School experience Teamwork Family collaboration in education Curriculum design Math Child Development Working with families Instructional materials development Student engagement classroom management Early Childhood Education Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Qualified /Toddler Teacher to Provide a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment where infants/toddlers learn, grow, and develop physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. The ages we are seeking a teacher for at this time is 0-24 months.
Duties Care and Development:
Diapering, feeding, nap routines, sensory play. Support developmental milestones 0-2yrs. per CA licensing and your center's curriculum.
Learning Environment:
Plan age-appropriate activities-songs, Bible stories, Bible verses, finger plays, art, etc. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental goals, and support early intervention strategies.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow Title 22 licensing, health/safety protocols, CPR/First Aid. Maintain Clean classrooms and accurate records.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with co-teachers, director, assistant director, and church staff. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and devotions. Manage classroom routines effectively, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining discipline through positive reinforcement techniques. Requirements Valid certification in early childhood education with infant/toddler care qualification or equivalent credentials. Proven classroom experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and behavior management strategies. Experience with curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and classroom management. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.25 per hour
