The teacher plans and implement the curriculum and work with parents and assesses the need of the individual child. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare weekly lesson plans Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social need of the children in the program Supervise children at meals and during recess Ensure facility is clean and well maintained and safe at all times Communicate effectively in a manner that children understand Provide positive guidance Ensure that children are supervises at all times Qualifications and Skills Must have 12 units or more in early childhood development Must be finger printed or have clearance number from licensing Must have physical and tb test and the required immunizations Must have cpr and first aide card Must be at least 18 years old Muat have mandated child abuse certificate Must have Rubella shot and Pertusis shots
