Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a Co or Lead Educator to work in our Reggio inspired Pre-School Program (age 2.6 to 4 years of age) M-F full time. We are a Reggio inspired program drawing from best practices. Our student to teacher ratio in the pre-k group is typically 1:8 during small group time and 1:10 while in mixed outdoor time . Must have at least 1 year experience as a Co or Lead Educator, 12 ECE units and Livescan/Criminal Background check. Please include your relevant experience in your resume or response. Please include experience and education relevant to working with young children in a professional setting. Pay is based on education and experience working with young children. LSH has a pay scale that can be shared to qualified and interested applicants. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, fun and friendly environment. Cleaning tables, chairs, sweeping, vacuuming and/or mopping floor to provide children with a pleasant and clean environment to work in. Assisting with classroom flow and management Lesson planning to include provocations Assisting with implementation of activities and interest areas based on observations Assisting with diapering and taking children to the bathroom Assisting and supervision of lunch and snack Group supervision in general Documentation on a continual basis of activities Uploading onto Brightwheel to primary families
