Key Details Schedule:
40 hours/week Typically 7:30 AM-4:00 PM One or two days per week will be 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Schedule is fixed for the school year Flexibility is available for the right candidate, but consideration given to those that are available until 5:30pm. Main Responsibilities Support the school's Catholic mission and vision Collaborate with other preschool teachers on curriculum planning Teach and supervise preschool-aged children Communicate effectively with parents Prepare classroom materials and activities Meet individual student needs Follow licensing regulations and school policies Participate in professional development Required Qualifications 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education , including: Child Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Curriculum At least 18 years old Warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic personality Ability to work independently and as part of a team CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Live Scan/background clearance TB/health clearance About the School Founded in 1961, Saint Simon Parish School emphasizes Catholic education, strong community involvement, technology integration, and close collaboration between parish and school staff.
