In this dynamic role, you will be a key player in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. As a Preschool Floater, you will provide flexible classroom support across various preschool settings, ensuring that each child receives attentive care and quality educational experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education while making a positive impact on children's lives. Duties Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and student engagement Support classroom management and behavior guidance to foster a respectful and inclusive environment Help prepare educational materials and classroom setups aligned with curriculum goals Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism Collaborate with staff to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and developmental levels Maintain open communication with parents and team members regarding children's progress and needs Skills Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education techniques Knowledge of math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children and engaging teaching methods Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Ability to work effectively with children of various abilities, including toddlers and children with disabilities Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students Experience working in daycare, private school environments, or Montessori settings is a plus Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a flexible classroom setting as a floater Passion for working with young children and fostering their social-emotional growth This role is ideal for dedicated individuals eager to support early childhood education through hands-on involvement and creative teaching. Pay:
