From $23.00/hour Position Summary Our client, a Japanese Preschool is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join its collaborative early childhood education team. The school offers a Montessori-inspired curriculum that integrates play-based learning, nature exploration, and Japanese language immersion. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about supporting young children's growth in a nurturing and culturally enriching environment. Key Responsibilities Classroom Instruction & Student Development Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Incorporate early childhood education best practices into daily teaching activities. Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Communication & Collaboration Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members. Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and educational programs. Participate in team discussions and contribute to the school's learning environment. Professional Development Stay current with best practices and developments in early childhood education. Apply new teaching strategies and educational methods in the classroom. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with preschool-aged children required. Minimum 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Passion for early childhood education and child development.
