This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and supporting early learning in a nurturing, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and helping students reach their full potential. You bring strong creative and problem-solving skills, enjoy building meaningful connections with students, and are committed to creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment. Responsibilities Be in charge of daily classroom activities Supervise children to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment indoors and outdoors Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Assist children with daily routines, including snacks, cleanup, and transitions Encourage social, emotional, and early developmental skills Help maintain a clean and organized classroom Communicate with parents and other school personnel Provide support during nap time Creating weekly lesson plans Qualifications 12 child development unit's minimum required CPR/First Aid certification required Background check required Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills Ability to work well as part of a team Reliable and punctual
