In this dynamic role, you will inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years, fostering curiosity, social-emotional growth, and early literacy skills. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored from toddler development stages through TK, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Engage children in hands-on activities that foster curiosity, motor skills, through a play based learning environment. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when applicable; communicate findings with families and team members. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between activities while maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom management. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development principles and promote inclusive learning experiences for all children. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, behavior, and milestones to support ongoing learning at home. Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, particularly with toddlers; prior classroom experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and support individualized learning needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists in special education or child welfare. Minimum of 12 ECE units including 3 infant/toddler is a must. Passion for nurturing young children's growth through innovative teaching practices and compassionate care.
