Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Maintain detailed records of student progress through assessments, standardized testing results, and observational notes to inform ongoing instruction and communicate with parents or guardians. Engage in regular classroom experience activities such as tutoring, storytime, hands-on projects, and outdoor play to enrich learning experiences. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives like Montessori or other specialized educational approaches to ensure a holistic learning environment. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and child welfare standards while maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management techniques, and teaching physical education. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and best practices for preschool settings. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool environments, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Expertise in curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and creative arts. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention methods to support diverse learners. Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment while maintaining discipline effectively. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, standardized testing preparation, and tutoring sessions when necessary. Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, guardians, colleagues, and administrators to support child welfare. Experience with toddler care practices to ensure age-appropriate activities that promote growth at every stage of early childhood. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other specialized educational philosophies is a plus for creating enriching learning experiences. Competence in managing behavioral challenges through proactive behavior management techniques that promote respectful interactions.
