Church Childcare Teacher for Toddler/Preschool Class Faith & Freedom Christian Center Mission Viejo, CA Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Caregiving First aid Daycare Working with students Full Job Description Overview We are a new two year old church, Faith & Freedom Christian Center, seeking a dedicated person responsible for our young children's class. The children range between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, and there are typically 4 to 8 children on any given Sunday. We only have one service; beginning at 10:30am. The hours needed are from 10:00 to 12:30pm. The extra half hour before service will used to restock the children's snacks and review Bible lessons, craft, and games. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a fun, loving, and safe environment and able to maintain and cool disposition. Duties
- Provide children with a loving atmosphere.
- Must have some Bible knowledge in order to encourage children's spiritual development and discuss Bible stories.
- Facilitate discussions and activities that promote spiritual growth and Biblical principles and values.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful and mannerly environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized Sunday School class.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during Sunday School hours.
- Collaborate with church staff regarding any needs or updates.
