This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners while also overseeing the daily operations of our preschool environment. You will play a vital role in curriculum development, classroom management, and ensuring the overall welfare of our students. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development while demonstrating leadership and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Apply effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being among students. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about their child's growth, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs. Supervise daily operations of the preschool, including scheduling, lesson planning, classroom organization, and staff coordination. Support special education initiatives by implementing individualized plans and working closely with specialists when necessary. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, child welfare standards, and health & safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development principles across literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and external partners. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate diverse learning styles and developmental needs. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities alongside administrative responsibilities efficiently. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant certifications in child welfare or daycare licensing are advantageous.
