Infant/ Toddler Teacher

Very established preschool located in Mountain View. Looking for a full-time teacher aid/ teacher assistant. Should be energetic, passionate, working with infants and toddlers. Responsibilities for Infant/ Toddler Teacher/ Assistant/Aide Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in their care Give bottles to infants as provided by parents Feed infants solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents Change diapers as needed Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys Put infants in cribs for nap time Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean Reading books, teaching the curriculum provided by the school according to school needs. Maintaining the assessment records of the children in the class. Qualifications for Infant Teacher Completion / continuing to pursue to earn the of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations Ability to pass background checks from Licensing A caring individual who enjoys teaching young children Able to lift to 30 pounds Extended periods sitting on the floor We have multiple work shifts to choose from the shift between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. Reliable transportation to the Child Care center Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
