Preschool Prep Lead Teacher

Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging respectful interactions among children. Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Support toddler care routines and promote healthy habits, safety protocols, and child welfare practices within the classroom. Collaborate with families through clear communication about student progress, milestones, and classroom activities to build strong partnerships. Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor progress and inform instruction. Oversee classroom management strategies to ensure a safe, organized environment conducive to active learning and exploration. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings, including classroom management and lesson planning. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methodologies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Experience with classroom experience in daycare or private school environments is preferred. Ability to implement early intervention strategies and support children with diverse learning needs. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
