Do you love working with young children and bringing energy, creativity, and structure to their day? We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing, and releable summer camp instructor for a ONE week assignment. MUST have experience with children in either a pre-school or elementary school setting. Responsibilities facilitate dynamic daily activities including games, arts, theater, and educational games that cater to diverse interests and age groups Maintain a safe environment by implementing proper supervision, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance through tailored approaches aligned with childhood development principles Foster positive relationships with campers by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive camp experience Assist with setup and cleanup of activity areas, ensuring the camp environment remains organized and inviting Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or summer camps is highly valued Knowledge of early childhood education practices and childhood development principles Skills in classroom management and behavior management strategies to handle various situations confidently Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or counseling adds valuable versatility to your role Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities when guiding groups of children Passion for working with children and creating memorable summer experiences that promote growth and fun Embark on an exciting journey this summer where your energy fuels unforgettable adventures!
