Full-time Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about childhood development and have a strong foundation in literacy education.
Education:
  • Must have at least 12 semester or 18 quarter units in ECE in the areas of
Child Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, incorporating a range of educational activities and resources.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, including Montessori and physical education, to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans, taking into account the unique needs and abilities of each student.
  • Monitor student progress, track attendance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in childhood development, literacy education, and child welfare.
Experience:
  • Experience working with students of various ages and abilities, including toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Experience with potty training.
  • Proven experience in childcare and a strong understanding of the needs of young children.
  • Experience with literacy education and a commitment to promoting reading and writing skills.
  • A background in child welfare and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for students.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of childhood development and literacy education.
  • Experience with teaching and childcare.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances.
