Full-time Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about childhood development and have a strong foundation in literacy education.Education:
- Must have at least 12 semester or 18 quarter units in ECE in the areas of
Child Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, incorporating a range of educational activities and resources.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including Montessori and physical education, to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans, taking into account the unique needs and abilities of each student.
- Monitor student progress, track attendance, and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in childhood development, literacy education, and child welfare.
Experience:
- Experience working with students of various ages and abilities, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Experience with potty training.
- Proven experience in childcare and a strong understanding of the needs of young children.
- Experience with literacy education and a commitment to promoting reading and writing skills.
- A background in child welfare and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for students.
