The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Montessori educational standards to promote literacy education, math skills, and overall child development. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Provide individualized support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Conduct observations and assessments to evaluate student learning and development. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Must have 12 Core ECE units Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively guide children's behavior. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus. Montessori certification preferred. Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates math, literacy education, and other foundational skills. Previous experience in childcare or tutoring is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to take an active and hands-on approach to engage children in learning. Ability to provide enthusiasm and positivity to the classroom . Ability to design and facilitate exciting activities that foster children's curiosity and love for learning.
