Duties Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities in a preschool or daycare setting Support teachers and caregivers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and early learning milestones Engage children with interactive activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive growth Ensure the safety of all children by monitoring their behavior and environment closely; respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies using first aid when necessary Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Support toddlers and infants with feeding, diapering, and comforting routines while adhering to health and safety standards Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent routines to foster a respectful atmosphere Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers through daycare or babysitting roles demonstrates your ability to handle diverse age groups effectively Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and children to ensure a supportive environment Spanish is a plus Join us in shaping bright futures!
