Noah's Wonderful Ark Preschool is a brand-new, faith-based preschool opening soon, and we're looking for passionate, dependable teachers who are excited to help build a positive, nurturing learning environment from the very beginning. Our mission is to nurture the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued. Use child development principles to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective strategies to foster a respectful, safe learning environment. Observe and document children's progress, and communicate and collaborate with families to address concerns and support their involvement in the educational process. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe environment for all children. Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom that meets licensing standards. Collaborate with the Director and teaching team to create a positive, supportive school culture. Follow all regulations and Noah's Wonderful Ark policies and procedures. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, classroom management, and curriculum innovation. Model professionalism, integrity, kindness, and positive attitude each day. Qualifications Must meet teacher qualifications for a preschool teacher. Minimum of 12 Child Development/ Early Childhood Education units required. Proven classroom experience working with young children in preschool settings; daycare or private school experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices. Experience with curriculum development & lesson planning. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families & colleagues. Current CPR and First Aid Certification, Mandated Reporter Certification, or ability to obtain certification before employment. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom efficiently while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to nurturing each child's potential through innovative teaching methods.
