In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment tailored specifically for infants. Your dedication will support their growth, curiosity, and well-being from their earliest stages of life. We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages learning through play, exploration, and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote infant development across cognitive, motor, social, and emotional domains. Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their safety at all times. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining consistent routines. Monitor and document each infant's developmental milestones and daily progress to inform personalized care strategies. Collaborate with families to communicate daily updates, developmental observations, and address any concerns or questions. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations. Support classroom management by guiding behavior with positive reinforcement techniques suitable for infants and toddlers. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other teachers in your classroom along with our entire caregiving team. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or caregiving setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is reccomended; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring special education or additional support. Experience with caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and behavior management tailored to infants' needs.
