Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Day Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily care and educational activities for young children, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children thrive as they explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Duties Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities in accordance with safety standards. Support classroom management by helping organize activities that promote childhood development and social skills. Implement age-appropriate learning activities that foster curiosity and early childhood education principles. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies, including first aid procedures when necessary, Communicate effectively with children Support children with toddler care, infant care, and special needs as required, demonstrating patience and understanding. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the day care areas. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Compassionate caregiver who enjoys working with children of various ages. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
