Primary Responsibilities Include:

Maintain appropriate teacher - child ratios, ensuring visual supervision of children at all times. Develop and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for all children and families. Understand and follow Wonder Years school policies and procedures to ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with licensing requirements. Collaborate with co teachers to plan and implement age and developmentally appropriate curriculum for children based on children's interests and needs, including daily open-ended activities to expand their competencies across developmental domains. Observe and assess children's development and progress, and provide regular feedback to parents. Communicate daily with parents, share the important milestones in their child's day in person and via school app. Collaborate with other teachers and School Director in providing a high quality early education program reflecting Wonder Years School philosophy. Qualifications Required At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required. 6 months experience working in an early childhood education program. Enrolled or willing to enroll in ECE classes. Fingerprints clearance through Department of Justice for Child Abuse Index Check and Criminal Record Statement.
