Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and caring environment where children can grow, learn, and build confidence through play. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher who loves working with young children, understands Early Childhood Education, and is fluent in both English and Chinese. This teacher will support our Chinese immersion classroom and help prepare children for Kindergarten. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for the Pre-K classroom Prepare and carry out lesson plans collaboratively with the teaching team Complete children's developmental assessments, including DRDP and ASQ , accurately and on time Observe, document, and track children's growth, development, and learning progress Conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss children's progress, developmental goals, and school readiness Build strong, positive relationships with children and families through open, respectful, and professional communication Partner with families to support each child's individual needs and developmental goals Collaborate with staff and administration to ensure consistency in care, education, and family support Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support for children Maintain a safe, healthy, organized, and engaging classroom environment Set up and maintain classroom materials, learning centers, and decorations Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and general housekeeping duties as needed Follow all school policies, procedures, and licensing regulations Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events Perform other duties as assigned Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Qualifications Passionate and motivated to work with young children Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Knowledge of child development and preschool curriculum Understanding of early childhood education for children ages 2-5 Problem-solving skills and ability to work well with families and staff Requirements Minimum 24 ECE units (including 12 core units) OR a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field At least 1-2 years of preschool teaching experience Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Higher permit levels preferred (Teacher Permit, Site Supervisor Permit, or above) Pay Based on Qualifications $28.00/hour — 12-24 ECE units, Associate Teacher Permit, or Teacher Permit $32.44/hour — Associate Degree + required ECE/Admin units, Site Supervisor Permit $36.88/hour — Bachelor's Degree + ECE units, Teacher Permit or higher $39.27/hour — Master's Degree in Child Development (or related field) + Program Director Permit Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development support Schedule Full-time 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Education Associate degree or higher preferred Work Location In person (San Francisco, CA)
