Infant-Toddler Teacher

Job description Scholars Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant-Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants - 24 month olds. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implementing age appropriate project-based activities
• Helping in daily operation of the classroom
• Supporting students with daily activities (playtime, snacks, naptime, feeding, diapering, etc)
• Enthusiastically communicating student's progress to parents
• Participating in staff meetings and other school organized events
• Effectively communicating with students, parents and staff members
• Maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment
• Managing school operations and identifying new processes
• Ensuring a safe and healthy environment and practicing all licensing, safety and health protocols regulations and procedures
• Following school policies
• Developing, managing and implementing curriculum and educational activities Teacher Qualifications include:
• Must have infant - toddler units
• At least 2 year of relevant teaching experience classroom
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Covid-19 Vaccine required
• Ability to effectively prioritize work duties and adapt quickly
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Team player and collaborator

Full Time 8 hour shift 8:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
