Job Description

Spanish Immersion Preschool and/or Infant Teacher (San Mateo, CA) Full-Time | Bilingual Early Learning | Are you passionate about early childhood education and excited to nurture bilingual development in young children? Join Mi Second Casa, a brand-new Spanish immersion preschool in San Mateo where children grow through play, culture, and connection. We're currently hiring Full-Time Teachers. At Mi Second Casa, we believe in creating a warm, inclusive space where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore. Our Spanish immersion program is rooted in play-based learning, family partnerships, and a deep respect for childhood.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children's learning and development. Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating Spanish immersion environment. Observe and document each child's growth through portfolios, assessments, and regular communication with families. Foster independence, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills through intentional interactions and classroom routines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets all state licensing requirements. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive, enriching experience for all children.
Position Details:
Full-time 8 hour shift positions, Monday through Friday Pay rate: $27-$34/hour , depending on experience and the Child Development Permit held Start date: April 2026 Qualifications (All Teachers): Must be at least 18 years old Minimum of 12 ECE units, including core courses in child development, child/family/community, and curriculum At least one year of experience in a licensed early childhood program with children ages 3 YO - 5 YO Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Fluency in Spanish required, with the ability to communicate and teach in a full immersion setting Exceptional Benefits — Because We Invest in
