Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori-based curricula that promote literacy education, early intervention, and holistic childhood development. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring each child's physical needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Develop individualized lesson plans that support children's social-emotional growth and behavioral management. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, milestones, and any special education needs or accommodations. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized in-home classroom environment aligned with childcare standards and Montessori principles. Utilize classroom experience and teaching skills to support children's physical education, math skills, and early literacy through engaging activities. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including special education and early intervention techniques. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with infants or toddlers. Strong curriculum development skills tailored to early childhood education standards and Montessori methodology. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Ability to manage classroom dynamics with behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions. Skilled in lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing standardized testing or assessment tools when necessary. Familiarity with teaching physical education, tutoring techniques, and supporting child welfare initiatives within an educational setting.
