In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children Supervise daily activities including playtime, circle time, arts and crafts, and rest periods with enthusiasm and patience Monitor children's behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote good conduct and emotional well-being Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper supervision during activities and emergency preparedness procedures Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in childcare settings Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying roles with a focus on toddler care (18 months-2years) Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience managing classroom activities for young children while fostering positive behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental stages Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and caregivers Education 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development OR 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development , must be working toward 12 At least 3 of those units (1 class) must be Infant/Toddler-specific Join us as a Toddler Teacher to help shape the early experiences of young children through dedicated care, innovative teaching strategies, and heartfelt support.
