Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, promote social-emotional growth, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Your passion for early childhood development and commitment to creating a positive learning space will help children build foundational skills that set them up for success. Responsibilities Develop and execute creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddlers to preschool age. Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being among students. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support ongoing development through regular updates and parent meetings. Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Oversee classroom management duties including organization of materials, adherence to health and safety standards, and maintaining compliance with childcare regulations. Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong background in early childhood education principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development stages, special education practices, early intervention methods, and literacy education strategies. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques, and teaching physical education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Valid certification or credential in early childhood education or related field; prior preschool experience is essential.
