We are seeking an exceptional Spanish Immersion Preschool Teacher for our 3-4 year old classroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, fluent in both Spanish and English, and committed to speaking Spanish exclusively with students throughout the school day . Responsibilities Create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and fully Spanish immersion classroom environment where children acquire language naturally through meaningful experiences and daily interactions. Speak Spanish exclusively with students throughout the school day to preserve the integrity of our immersion model. Design and implement engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Support children's social-emotional development by cultivating empathy, resilience, self-confidence, and positive relationships. Guide children in developing early literacy, mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and school readiness through developmentally appropriate practices. Observe and assess each child's progress and use those observations to personalize instruction and support individual growth. Foster a positive classroom culture built on kindness, respect, collaboration, and joyful learning. Collaborate closely with families and colleagues to support each child's academic, emotional, and social development. Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring learning environment that encourages exploration, movement, and discovery. Qualifications Fluent in both Spanish and English. Commitment to speaking Spanish with students throughout the school day. Minimum of 12 ECE units required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Two years previous experience teaching preschool-aged children (3-5 years old) in a preschool or early childhood education setting. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Experience with Spanish immersion, bilingual education, inquiry-based learning, or child-centered educational approaches is highly desirable. Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. $51,185.00 - $61,642.00 per year
