In this role as a 2's Teacher Lead, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development through faith-based principles. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and loving setting. As a key team member, you'll collaborate with fellow educators to implement curriculum plans that support literacy education, social-emotional skills, and foundational academic concepts, all while integrating Christian values into daily activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives during their formative years. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate, faith-based curriculum that aligns with preschool standards. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans focused on early intervention, literacy education, math, physical education, and classroom management Foster a nurturing environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional growth. Monitor and assess individual progress through observation and adjust individual lesson planning as needed. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any behavioral or developmental concerns. Maintain a well-organized classroom that ensures safety, cleanliness, and adherence to childcare licensing regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is for 1 year is required. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices in early childhood education Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff and Administration. Previous private school or Christian preschool experience is a plus. Regular attendance of a local church is required.
Pay:
$23.50 - $25.00 per hour
