Job Summary:
We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Preschool Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. This role involves implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional growth, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Implementation:
Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration. Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using our fun and engaging characters, making TLE a place where learning is fun!
Classroom Management:
Create a warm, welcoming, and structured classroom environment. Establish and enforce rules and routines that ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Child Development:
Observe and assess each child's development, identifying areas for growth and providing individualized support. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Parent Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Classroom Activities:
Organize and lead engaging activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play. Ensure activities are safe, fun, and educational.
Health and Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure the classroom is clean and organized.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED (required) Have an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related degree (preferred) Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required) Have a genuine passion for education and care of children This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
