Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development and education of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
  • Assess and monitor the progress of each child
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to support the individual needs of each child
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • ECE units (minimum of 12)
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning across various domains (e.g., math, language, physical education)
  • Experience working with students who require special education or early intervention services is a plus
