What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences Foster children's social-emotional growth, confidence, and independence Observe, document, and support each child's individual development Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities Collaborate with teaching teams and administration to support classroom goals and school initiatives Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and experiences Qualifications Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred Previous preschool teaching experience Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Experience in a play-based learning environment preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and paid holidays Flexible spending account Life insurance Tuition reimbursement Professional development support Employee childcare discount Supportive administration and collaborative teaching team Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
