In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes childhood development, social skills, and early education fundamentals. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while fostering their curiosity and growth. Duties Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones for infants and preschoolers. Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring health and safety standards. Facilitate engaging activities that promote cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development tailored to each child's unique needs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Use positive behavior management techniques to guide children's social interactions and foster respectful classroom behavior. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to their development or well-being. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health protocols, including first aid procedures, and best practices in childcare and early childhood education. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development stages relevant to infants and preschoolers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a nurturing learning environment. Experience with behavior management strategies tailored for young children. Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and teaching methods. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and caregivers.
