Job Description

Lifetime of Love Nannies is assisting a local early childhood education program in Truckee with the search for a dedicated, long-term Full-Time Preschool Teacher. This position is ideal for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Compensation $20-$25 per hour Full-Time Position Monday-Friday Typical hours between 8:00 AM-5:30 PM Qualifications Minimum of 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) or Child Development units , including core courses in child development, child/family/community, and curriculum. Additional Infant/Toddler units preferred. AA degree or higher in ECE, Child Development, or a related field preferred. Eligible for or currently holds a Teacher Permit. Minimum of 6 months of professional childcare or classroom experience. CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain). DOJ fingerprint clearance and background screening required. Fluent in English; Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience supporting children with diverse learning, developmental, and social-emotional needs is highly valued. Ability to lift and carry children up to 50 pounds when necessary. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Maintain compliance with California licensing regulations and center policies. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care and education. Participate in special events, family engagement opportunities, and staff meetings as needed. Support children's individual learning styles and developmental needs.
